Thank you!!

I had purchased a Ball python a year ago without any knowledge on how to care for it! reading what you guys had to say really helped :D his tank was 1 heat lamp with aspen bedding and a water dish with a log, now that I have read about them from this forum I have learned what to give him! and this is what it looks like now

Looks good but i would definantly cover the back and sides of your cage if your going to use the half logs so he feels more secure

Ditto, those half logs may seem like they do the job, but thats only because they have nothing else to hide in!

looks good. are those the temp probes hanging on the back of the tank? if you you want to check your temps on the ground where the snake is not the air around him as much. also might have a bit too much substrate for the heat to get to bp.

they are for the humidity and I felt the spot were the heat pad is, very warm :)

that tree thingy to the right is a little cave he also uses, and the large stick that holds up the vines is also a cave at the bottom that he uses :P

you have a thermostat and thermometer for the heat pad right? cuz very warm to us can be very hot for them

very warm like hot cause it should be between 90 and 94 which wont be very warm to you cause your body temp is 98.6 do you have your uth regulated with a thermostat or dimmer.

it is not hot its a little below warm, I worried about it being too hot so I just put a stack of polished glass ontop of it,
and the bottom is kind of hallow, so the heating pad is not directly onto the glass anyways
