Follicles?

My friend is coming over today to see the snakes because she is interested in getting a ball python soon. It also happens to be cleaning day so I'm opening up tubs, cleaning everyone and I get to Akina. She's curled on the hot side, deep in blue. I have not checked on her in 3 days other than to refresh her water so I haven't seen anything as far as building or ovulation but I'm pretty sure this is not her pre-lay shed. I took her out and weighed her (1988g but she hasn't pooped yet since her last meal) and decided to try palpating her. I have never succeeded but just now I put her head in the tub and let her slither on into her tub and I felt 2 hard bumps. They are somewhere between the size of a marble and a golf ball. I'm pretty sure its not poop as they were not squishy. I tried to feel them again but she was not cooperating with me. I only felt two, but could these be follicles? I plan to pair her with my pastel as soon as she sheds.

They could be follicles. Where on her did you feel them, about mid body or so? Like you said they felt like marbles sized to golf ball sized. Round and hard not squishy. I would think they are follicles.

Not squishy at all. More like hard bumps, as if she had swallowed two very large marbles. They were in the last 3rd of her body. I'm going to try again once she has shed.

Akina was a little more cooperative tonight. I was able to feel for sure, 2 follicles and I think I felt a 3rd. So I'm getting better at feeling these. She's coming out of blue (eyes are no longer cloudy). Should I go ahead and stick my pastel in with her or wait until she's just about to shed?
