Worried about cool side tempreture :SS
so yesterday i recieved my tempgun. and looks like my bp has a temp of 92 - 100F (100 being a smal spot in the middle of the UTH ) but this is not what makes me worry most. cause i know that can be fixed with a thermostat. what is worrying (i dont know how to spell it) most is that on the faqs on this website it says that tempreture should not drop more then 84F , wich i think its about the cool side :S my cool side is about 69 - 72F.
is my cool side bad? :S and would should i do if so :|

Your snake will survive although he/she would prefer a higher cool side temperature. I had to get a space heater to increase my ambient temperature. Have you tried that yet?

hmm no , will it decrease the lifespan or something without the higher ambient tempreture?

I'm pretty sure your answer is no
and If you get the space heater watch ur humidity they tend to dry the air.

Colder temps will put her off feed for a long time, It can also cause stomach rot of the rodent in her with colder temps.

Best to give them what is recommended and not wing it cause you havent seen anything wrong YET.

Well then that makes perfect sense. For all us Americans, 16.9*C is about 62*F. If your house is about this temperature, then your cool side will also be close to this temperature.

You have a couple options, get a heat lamp (sucks humidity), get a radiant heat panel (expensive), get another UTH and a thermostat.

It is recommended that your cool side temps don't fall below 75*F. (23.8*C)

i got a 2nd UTH for the cold side for the winter cuz in the winter it can get to 15*F at times during the winter. i have a thermostat for both and i have a red light 24/7 on a rheostat low setting for the ambrient temp. i havent changed anything in a while. i occasionally adjust the thermostat a lil bit but everything stays right where it should be most of the time
