Cinny X Pastel = Pewter So, Cinny Pied X Pastel Pied = Pewter Pied?
Ok. I know I still have a ways to go before I get there, but I've been playing around with my genetics wizard software for the morphs I have.
While it does show that breeding a cinny to a pastel will produce a pewter, when you add pied to the mix, it calls the snake a cinny pastel pied.
Would that be the same as a pewter pied, or something else?
In all honesty, I know it's going to take 6 or 8 years to get where I want to be, but once I do get there I hope to be able to produce 8 or 9 different colors of pieds from my small collection. I want to specialize in pied morphs.

Cinny pastel is not a pewter. There is cinnamon pastels
Cinny Pastel- http://www.bhbreptiles.com/component...e2663cef7e.jpg
By breeding cinny to pastel you can get pewters, cinny pastels, cinnies, pastels, normals
Re: Cinny X Pastel = Pewter So, Cinny Pied X Pastel Pied = Pewter Pied?
The reason for the confusion is that cinnamons were originally called cinnamon pastels. As time went on the pastel part of the name was dropped by most. So, cinnamon x pastel would give you pewters, pastels, cinnamons and normals.

and follow this link to see this http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard/ and then put pastel and cinnamon in for the 2 bps.. it will show you... you will get 25% normals 25% cinnamon 25% pastels and 25% pewters when breeding a cinnamon to a pastel...

My husband actually found the software on a cornsnake site.

I like it better because it is easier for me to use. It does BP, cornsnakes, kingsnakes and pythons.
