Smallest snakes you put into 32qt tubs
I just purchased a 7 slot sterlite 1755 32qt AP rack. I have 3 normal females ranging from 500-1600 grams. I also have 1.1 pastels in 15qt tubs that are roughly 250 grams empty. I don't want to enduce any fasting by moving them into the rack too soon. I've read of people moving snakes into 32 qt at 900-1000 grams. Yet I'm curious to know what the earliest it can successfully done. The rack will be black so it should be dark for them and I could use extra hides. I might consider just using the 15qt tubs in the rack if they'll fitt till they are larger.

    Thanks

I normally move mine over to 32 quarts once they reach about 300 - 400 grams. If it were me, I would go ahead and move them over, but use a hide until they feel more comfortable in the larger tubs. Good luck.

I have a 200+/- pastel and put her in a 32qt with 2 hides as soon as I got her and never had any issues. She is not in a rack just the tub on a shelf with a towel over her half her tank to keep it darker.

Never had issues with her not eating. I can even get her to drink out of her water bowl while I hold her.
