    Freezing temps in FLORIDA!!
Dang it! I live in Florida for a danged reason! Because it's WARM!!

(.. and I was born here, all my family and friends are here, no state income tax, good job... but I digress..)

We're getting over a week of below freezing nights, and they are even using the four-letter word for that frozen rain stuff for HERE!! FLORIDA!!!!

Oh no. I do NOT think so.

So since I've been freezing my tush off every night trying to get warm, I'm bunking in the snake room! I've told everyone, I'm sleeping in the snake room with the 40 snakes, becuase it's WARM in there!!! Removing the work table gave me room to put down a nest on the floor. Now I'll be toasty warm tonight!

Anyone else ever moved into the reptile quarters to stay warm?

    HAH!!

It's in the NEGATIVE 20's here wind chill wise and it ain't THAT bad.

We can only hope that politicians take this into consideration on the S373 bill, there's no way these snakes can survive in those temperatures.

Last winter when the fan in our furnace screeched to a halt. Granted, it was only for half a day or so, but this was in a Michigan winter. So it was actually cold here, not like what you Floridians call cold. ;)

It does get cold every once in a while in FL, but it usually only lasts for a week or so. Last night my mom called to tell me it was colder in Naples than it was here WA.
