I live near BWI airport in Maryland and I've always wanted to take the time to be a USO Greeter. This video may be exactly what I needed to get off my lazy butt, get to the airport and shake the hands of the fine men and woman that make this country so great.:salute:

That's right! That is what we do because WE are Americans. No we are not perfect, in fact, some times we are a train wreck. It's sorta like being a part of a family though. We can get after each other and some of us can be real pains in the you know what. We sometimes play silly games with ourselves and sometimes we don't see the big picture. However, when we are pushed with our backs against the wall, you see the best of us. And when the bully next door decides to make one of us a target, we come together and we say in a loud voice, I DON'T THINK SO.

I have a hard time with folks who gripe, moan, groan and complain about how rough they have it here, enjoying all the freedoms they enjoy while being a force for division and misunderstanding. Thankfully I don't run things. If you came to my home and then proceeded to tell me how screwed up it was, I believe I'd give you a one way ticket out of my door and it wouldn't be an invitation to leave. It would be me, showing you the door and closing it behind you.

That is an AMAZING video...thank you for sharing it with us. Everytime I see these types of things I have to kiss my husband and thank him for being so amazing. (Army 24 years - 3 years in Korea and 15 months in Baghdad...not to mention the countless other places he was sent on a whims notice.)

I liked the part where he was recounting the action of the navy soldier saving an iraqi soldier. The rest of it was...I'll keep it to myself.
