    Little identification help?
So I couldn't pass this up. I was at a local pet shop that normally, I try to avoid. There is another in the area that I prefer. However, I stopped in and noticed a "Pair of Coastal Carpets" for sale. The smaller of the two was in fact a coastal. But the larger looks like something I am unfamiliar with. I just recently began keeping carpets. I have two large coastals, and two sub-adult Jungles as well as one hatchling jungle, seen in the pictures below with the unknown specimen (To me, anyhow.)

So yeah, the larger one...I can't find out what it is. I have spent days looking through morphs, crosses, everything. Am I missing something?

If anyone can tell me, then that would be awesome. Im sure it's something simple, but im coming up from colubrids and dumerils boas. This is relatively new territory for me.

    Is it a cross, maybe?

From what I can see, the larger is a coastal or at the very least, has a high percentage of coastal blood.
The smaller is a very dirty jungle or a jungle x coastal.

I would treat both those animals for mites.

Really? The other coastals I have look nothing like it. And yeah, the smaller is a Jungle. I picked her up seperately a few weeks back from a breeder. They don't have any mites, I checked before I bought them. I just havn't seen a coastal that looks like that.

    Crazy.

I notice you are in Georgetown. Will you be attending the Austin Reptile Expo this weekend? I will be vending there.

    Great!
I have been a vendor at every one Tim has done. You have probably seen my coastals and IJ's at the shows.
I am bringing an adult male PB VPI jungle also.

Cool. I should have some money by then. Maybe I'll end up buying something off you. Especially if you have a nice selection of Carpets.
