hide is really huge for her. try getting something a little bit smaller, something she can pack herself tight into.

I dont see how you are checking your temps. If you are using that fish tank thermometer on the back you need to get something better like the acu-rite. Also the cardboard box hide will fall apart pretty fast. Also how are you checking your humidity? I am betting its really low with a full screen top and heat lamps.

Sorry, but I think you need to start over. The grate you have covering the cage is too large, the snake WILL scratch itself on the large holes found in the grate. The hide is too large. I would get rid of the fake foliage. I couldn't tell because of the shaking in the video, but do you have 2 types of substrate in the tank?

But it's yours and you can set it up however you want. These are just my opinion and only my opinion.

    Good Luck!

I'm a firm believer in smaller enclosures for baby snakes. This seems way too big. Why don't you buy a real lid from the pet store? I would downsize the tank to a 20L gallon long and buy a lid, and some plexi glass to cover up half of the tank for humidity purposes. Someone just built a nice 20gallon long on here you should look at that one, he has a nice setup that you can probably adapt into your idea.

Maybe she hasn't eaten for three week because she feels uneasy?

A step above what I was sent home with from Petsmart, but you can always improve it and make your snakes home better. If I had not done research and found this site I doubt my snake would live a long and healthy life. I wish petstores were required to pass a simple test of the basics of how to care for a reptile long term. I was lucky and got some decent info from the girl in the reptile department becase she had a snake her self. But she was not on the level of the folks on here, not by far.

Use all you learn from the members here and make it your mission to make the best home for your snake you can. :)

Honestly for a beginner that is pretty good! Although I do agree with the comments of other users.

To post videos, you just post the youtube link and it will automatically embed it for you :) Its just too easy!
