    New house and New Pond
I found out a few months ago that my parents are going to be splitting up. I am going to be living primarily with my mom, so we went today to look at rental houses.

The one we chose today has an approximately 100-125 gallon pond built in outside. They don't stock it, but they say they get frogs to come to it every year. Ive decided that I am going to totally revamp it. I am going to:

Move it into a sunnier area

    Plant "pond" plants

It is 12 inches deep on the outskirts and 24 inches deep in the middle, so I am going to add some separate 3-4 foot deep plastic tubs next to the big pond so frogs can hibernate

Does anyone have experience doing something like this with outdoor ponds?
