SEARCH THIS THREAD feature useless.
Is it just me or am I crazy. I have yet to this day gotten the search this tread feature to work. I will post in a thread and try to find it with the search feature and it always says no matches. I can do a word search or search by username and I never seem to get any results. Am I doing something wrong here. I just figured that after two years of being a member I should bring it up. lol.

I like to used the advanced search - especially if I'm looking for a particular thread and I remember who posted it. For example, I'll search for threads started by pfan151 in the BP Pictures forum to find the thread that he first posted pictures of his lessers hatching in August to find the original pictures of my lesser that I got from him.
Or for example, I know Adam has made some good posts regarding Baytril and I'll search Baytril AND posts by Adam Wysocki in the Advanced search.
If I read a particularly good post or thread I know I'll likely want to refer to again in the future, I mark either the post or thread as a favorite and can just go to my User CP to find it again. Tigers in Birmingham thread by muddoc is one I have favorited.

Don't worry I have troubles with it too. It's especially annoying when someone chimes in and says "why didn't you use the search button for this thread, it has been done over and over and over" :rolleyes:
