happy or hates me?

my BP is about 4 months old. she eats great, doesnt hiss or strike at me ever. i never see her. she stays in her hide and doesnt come out unless i go in and lift her hide up and pick her up. does she like being in there hidden all day and night or does she just want to be alone and not look at me??

They're very independent creatures and like to spend most of their time tucked away, so congrats on having a healthy, not-stressed-out snake. You're doing well. If she was spending tons of time roaming or cruising around her cage, you'd know she was stressed and unhappy.

most ball pythons are more active at night most likely when you are sleeping. Think about it, in the wild, mice and rats are more active at night. So at night is a good time for snakes to look for dinner. :O

ok thanks. i was gettin kinda worried. im an MP in the army so i work a lot of wierd hours and i dont even see her at night. she just lays in there n hangs out. well as long as she is happy im happy. when i do go and get her its usually leter in the day and she starts roaming around right away. n when i try to put her back in after about 30 min she squeezes my hand and climbs back up.

As long as the temps are correct and he's eating, you've got it made.
