Do jungles lose color as they get older?

My 9 year old jungle just shed and i notice her yellow is a lot duller than it use to be. She use to have eye popping yellow now it looks wash out. Is this normal? Does their color fade with age?:confused:

I've often heard that breeders lose a bit of color over time, supposedly from the stress put on their bodies. I don't know about non-breeders, so maybe rather than being breeding related it's just age related.

I was under the impression that JCP's got better with age.

I was reading on Aussie Pythons and someone on there said that all carpets start to dull as they age. The other posters agreed. I do not own any, so I am only going by what they were saying.

Yea! I asked this question on there to. Along with a couple other sites. Seem to be the same answer on all of them.

Jungle's do grow brighter from hatchling to mature adults, when they get old, the vibrancy fades. I've been advised before to go with high black jungles instead of high yellow for them to stay stunning into elderly age.
