    a question of cost
im new to ball pythons and im kind of confused about price ranges. it seems like price for any given morph (right word? thats what we call different kinds of crested geckos) are EXTREMELY variable.

what could i expect to pay for a low end pastel, super pastel, and bumblebee? and what for a high end of any of these?

Low end pastel can run as cheap as $100.. maybe less nowadays.

Super pastels and bees? I bet there are a handful selling as cheap as $600?

Very nice pastels, especially really nice females, might run $300, or maybe even more.

I don't see bees much over a thousand. I don't see super pastels more than a couple hundred more over bees.

    Male pastels range from $50-$150.

    Female pastels $100-$250.

    Male/Female super pastels $475-$800.

    Male/Female bumblebees $500-$800.

These approximations are all based on '09 babies. Prices for snakes one year old or older are all over the place, but almost always more than babies.

Just keep in mind when buying one....that you don't want to get one just based on price. Be sure to do your homework on the breeder. Fauna Classifieds are a great source of reference, as well as the ppl on this board!
