what other light can I get?
I know MVB's are the best bet for beardie's, but by me they are 80$ for them.. is there a different light I can use that will give the same effect as the MVB's? Or if anyone knows of a good site that sells them... thanks in advance
Cheers

Re: what other light can I get?
thats the same one as this http://www.reptilesupply.com/product.php?products_id=74
id advise goin wiht the megaray or trex. honestly. you get what you pay for. i have used the powersun a couple times and i personally paid $80 for each of them. it really all depends on where you go to get them... i wouldnt spend 12 dollars on a UVB bulb.....
Re: what other light can I get?
thanks again Brian, how long do the MVB's last for?
Re: what other light can I get?
Most last for about a year. whereas the tubes. like the reptisun... i'm pretty sure last aout 6 months..
i know the mega ray for sure lasts at elast a year for the UVB and more for just creating heat
Re: what other light can I get?
There is always the reptisun 10.0 florescent tube light that I use for all my beardies. You just have to have the clear basking light as well. :)
Re: what other light can I get?
ya the reptisun is good too. but with tht one you still have to supplement with d3 and you have to have another basking light. with the powersun you also have to have another basking light. but the tubes only last about 6 months whereas the MVB's last about a year
