When it rains it pours. I need to get better by tomorrow!!

Well some of you might know, my boyfriend has been going through chemotherapy for the past month and he's not doing well. But I ended up in the ER a couple nights ago because I was in so much pain for a couple days I wanted to cry and I couldn't even think straight. My boyfriend can't drive because he's sick so my mom had to drive an hour just to come get me, then drive another 20 miles to get me to the ER. I spent 4 hours in the ER, I had an IV, a CT scan, morphine, anti nausea meds through the IV and by mouth, antibiotic through IV and by mouth. It was a long night....

It turns out I apparently have an infection in one of my ovaries :( the last thing I need. I was throwing up yesterday even after all the anti nausea stuff! I have pain meds and was only awake for three hours yesterday. I'm still feeling like absolute poo and I'm hoping the pain and the nausea goes away soon. :(

Murphy's Law has been wrecking havoc in our home lately!

I need to get better by tomorrow because my boyfriend has another chemotherapy day that I need to take him to. I might have to call someone to take him for me. :(

I'm glad we have the internet. It's my window to the outside world.

Wow, sorry to hear that! I hope you get better soon!

I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Sometimes when you are emotionally down.....I think it allows viruses attack your body. Just keep trying to think positive...it will get better.

You have got to find a way to take care of you in the storm. Otherwise your body will suffer the consequences of trying to do to much. Then you will not be able to help your boyfriend.
I will carry you in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted.

Sorry to hear the bad news :(

You should think positively because if you think negatively your body will keep on going through all the pain and nausea so try not to think about those things and hopefully you'll get better. You can watch movies to help take your mind off of things if that helps. Watch movies that you really get into so it will completely take your mind off of it.

Hang in there, dear. I know it can be hard to think good thoughts with so much crud all around you (oh boy do I know), but those good thoughts will help you AND your BF through all this. Think about your love for each other, and all the great and fun things you've done and will do once the storm has passed. :)

Your friends root for you and encourage those thoughts, so keep them going. :D

There's nothing I can do to make things better on your end, but I hope you get at least a little sunshine knowing there's a wonderful community here who cares.
