    My new baby
I'm new to the forums but thought I post a pic of my new baby. I got him as a christmas gift to me...lol...His name is Monty. I'm not sure how much he weighs but he's only about 2 feet long. He seems to be a good eater. He was fed about 2 weeks ago and I gave a muse today and he went right to it like a champ. I had one years ago that I had to give up (not because I wanted to trust me) and my cousin took it only to get killed by thier housekeeper when she escaped. Hope you guys like the pic. I'm enjoying all of the other pics on here.

nice looking snake I hope that dail is not your main temp gauge cause they not very well mad ( they off by up to 10 degrees either way on some).. there are many care sheets for snakes now.. Way better thant 10-15 years ago and a lot better than those 10 buck reptile books in the pet shop ( unless they finally upsated the info in them). So enjoy your new friend and stock up on supplies when you can cause they are addicting ( talking from experience lol I got 19 snakes ( yeah most are rescues) but when you consider that I purchased 7-9 snakes in the last 3 years and don't havea true reptile budget I think i done well in getting my small herd together.

    Nice looking pastel...?

You've given him a desert looking environment, which he doesn't care, but it's too open. Put more things for him to move around and hide in, then he should be really happy. Keep his temps and humidity in range and you're all set.
