well a super pastel is not a pastel. A pastel is like the het form of super pastel.

It really depends. Lemon, blonds, and graziani pastels should hold their color fairly well.

A pastel is a co-dominate, so pastel x pastel will make the super form, which is a super pastel. So the super pastel would be brighter.

Pastel is a pastel there all the same. Does not matter what line some will be dark some will not.

I agree, they are all the same. Holding color? If you mean staying lighter in color than the super, the pastel won't do that. However, I think they all dull or brown somewhat (proportionately speaking) over time. I have a Don Kaye pastel that is very much like the day I first got her as soon as she sheds but gets more tan as time passes between sheds. I have seen many pastels super or not that all do the same thing, some more than others. I think the "holding color" thing is something someone came up with as a marketing mechanism, no offense to the breeders out there who don't claim this.

    Yep

Don't limit yourself to a certain line. Find the brightest yellow baby you can find and you have a good shot that it will be a nice adult. You can really tell even as a hatchling which scales are going to turn brown and which will stay nice.
