new breeding quest?

Hi everyone me and my girlfriend have been really looking into breeding mice and bps. There is a show coming soon and we were wondering if anyone had suggestions on what morphs to get were looking to buy 2 more females and 2 more males for now. We know evveryone will say the lavenders or some of the other 2000 and up snakes but were looking in the 300 to 900 or each range please help with good suggestions we would like to get good offspring thanks!!!!!!:)

Well for morphs, if you wanting high dollar snakes and you don't want to wait long your gonna have to shell out big money for the morph itself or super. If you go for het's you spend less, it takes longer and in my opinion it's far more interesting!!!!!!

A few that come to my mind are :
Mojaves
Fires
Albinos
Bumblebees
possibly a pied male (I've seen some as low as $825..kinda depressing though to see them priced that low)
spiders (with some size on them in price range)
Ghosts (hypomelanistic)
Lessers/Butters
Pinsripes
Spotnose
etc....

Since you are new to ball pythons I'd recommend slowing down on the breeding thoughts. A lot of work and money goes into this (I don't mean to attack you, so please don't take offense)

However, starting with babies and growing then up 2-3 years will teach you a lot, which is what I'd suggest :gj:

well thats the idea i figured in about 2 years that we should have everything down but ive been wanting to do this for a while ive gotten alot of good information and have researched but i want to get at least four and raise them so i will be ready in a year in a half to two years. a guy at the reptile show saw my snake recently and said she is very healthy condition and that we were doing good for 1st timers. Im trying to make cool hatchlings so thats why i asked for everyones input. Thanks

get a bumble bee and a jigsaw they would give you 4 basic morphs when bred to a normal or get a male jigsaw and a female bee and go for a chance of a quad morph

Oh Definitely spend your money to get a nice bumblebee male and a normal female. This way when the male grows up and you breed them you get 25% bumblebees, 25% spiders, 25% pastels, and 25% normals. This is the most lucrativce way to produce a variety of morphs with just 2 snakes. This is what i'm doing almost exactly and is a better way to get the morphs you want, then you can combine the hatchings to whatever other combo you want to. A GOOD high yellow, high white bumblebee should be around $600, so if you have a normal already, your halfway there.

I would say you should get two or three visual morph females one normal female and one duble co-dom male. If you had three visual females that would give you 3 diffrent chances at three diffrent triple morphs in your first year of breeding! I would get a bee male, and lesser pinstripe and fire females. Thats a shot at queenbee, spinnerblast, and firebee.

0.1 Spider
0.2 Normals

Thats the route I would go.

Get something you really like thats fits in your budget. Something that will be easy to decide on, the one that makes you say WOW!

I would honestly suggest being around the BP hobby for awhile, and enjoy learning about your animals and the hobby itself for awhile before jumping into breeding within the next year or two. Spend some time learning the morphs, combo potential, and their price ranges. Research and all is great but nothing can replace hands on experience. There are many things that can go wrong, and you need to be prepared and capable of handling these issues if or when they arise. As far as suggestions on what you should buy...I would buy what is appealing to you. There are many appealing morphs in that price range.
