Trouble deciding on a set up.
I would like to use either a Terrarium set up or something from Animal plastic (and other similar products such as, reptile basics.)

A Terrarium would be much cheaper and is what i am leaning towards, but i have read that they have really bad humidity problems.

I was thinking just a regular 20gal long but maybe (http://store.herphut.org/glass-terrarium-pt-2613.html), would be a good option?

    Really very unsure.

Any reason why you would pick them? And can i treat them like i would a terrarium, id set them up the same way, a UTH, and a CHE?

RBI OR AP cages dont have Cut outs for heat lamps unless special ordered.

These cages hold in heat very well along with humidity. And yes you can set it up just like any other cage with heating pad. But with these cages depending on t he temps needed Radiant heat panels are the best way to heat them. But UTH can be used with out a problem on these as well.

Also look into Mark at boamaster.com He has all kinds of cages ready and will custom make them as well.

Why would i use a heat panel? How does that work? Would that be my only heat source?

yes heat panels are awesome. They mount to the top of the cage and radiate heat down to the snake, while also keeping the ambient air temp up too in the cage. They also are not hot to the tough what so ever. They just are easier to use with larger cages but not mandatory.

But don't balls want heat from underneath? Would i need another source of heat?

No when using radiant heat panels thats all you need for the main heat source for your hot side. You set the thermostat to the temp you want and go from there.

EDIT: Radiant heat panels use infrared that heat objects below them as if its heat from below.
