dimmer rec needed

I've heard folks recommend dimmers at Home Depot that sell for under $10. Any particular brands?

I've got a couple of the Zoomed UTHs that I need to get down to about 90F. (Without the dimmer they go up to 110! Good thing I'm getting my enclosures set up BEFORE my BPs arrive . . .) I've used the Zoomed rheostat with my boa and it works great, but if there's something else out there that is much cheaper I'll go for that.

This is the one I got from Home Depot yesterday for $9.97. Comes in white and black. It's located with the rest of the wall switch dimmers.

I'm really sick of dimmers but had one go out before my rack is finished and Herpstat II is set up. I've also heard enough horror stories about thermostats going out and killing collections so I'll end up putting the dimmer between the Herpstat and the heat tape.
