A few Q's about Balls going off feed & behavior
I got two balls off feed currently. One is a pretty big male, 1000g + that I expected to stop eating but then I have this 775g pinstripe who hasen't eaten for me since early November. I get a bit worried with this one just because its been a good 7 weeks since he's eaten but I'd like to know how long a ball can go without eating since he shows no real interest? I also have a brand new bumblebee that appears to be only a few weeks old. He's taking in his new home nicely and just ate for me yesterday but I noticed he has weird behavior head movements like he's trying to see the back of his head. I noticed my spider doing something similiar when I first got him but that behavior stopped once he got comfortable in his settings and got older. Do you think the same thing will happen with my bee or could it still continue on as he gets older?

Assuming all your husbandry is spot on, don't worry about it. It is common for males to go off feed in the winter months once they reach sexual maturity. They can go without food for a very, very long time. I think the record is like 15 months or something. As long as they aren't loosing considerable amount of weight, don't worry

The spider morph has a little quirk too it. They wobble and sometimes spin. What you are observing is probably the spinning. Some spiders grow out of it, some don't. It doesn't impact their health in any way though.

thanks for the reply. I thought that maybe my normal ball who is well over a 1000g was a female for a while since he just kept on eating but all of a sudden, he just stopped. Who knows though, maybe lllreptile sexed him wrong and i got me a lady. It's pretty funny because I offer him a rat and he just moves his head away from it like he's afraid of it. The pinstripe is just so much smaller than my normal and with his weight and the amount of weeks he's refused to eat, I just worry that he'll continue to lose weight and eventually be dangerously low. As for the Bee, I've heard of bee's and spider's have that quirk you mentioned and I sure hope he grows out of it. It just looks freaky seeing your brand new snake looking like a retard haha.
