    SLR Camera Advice
My dad is getting a new camera. He wants an SLR for business and his range is around $700. I don't even know where to start looking and comparing for SLR cameras so I figured I'd ask the trustworthy bp.netters! Lucky you!

Could anyone give any advice as far as going with an SLR? Good features, useless features? Like I said, I don't even really know what to look for in them. They all seem to have real high pixel counts. Zoom? Digital zoom? Memory type?

    :weirdface

    Help is much appreciated!

the D5000 is an EXCELLENT choice for someone just starting out! it's a great price, and it packs pretty much anything you'd ever really need into it!

considering I am still using a 3.2 meg one I no real help. but I will prolly bre looking into a new camera as mine has seem to walked off in the last week I taken half the trailer apart and not found it. I say if you going to spend that much on a camera it better have everything you need ot use it right out of the box ( after a quick battery charge)..

Nikons and Sonys are what I like the most. Canons are also good, I just don't like them that much.
