baking cookies...

ok...so I am not a baker...lets just start there! Suzy homemaker...not so much....I try but yea....... lol

I decided to make cookies with 4 kids today. Three of them are third graders and one is a first grader. We are making gingerbread....sugar and teacup cookies. 16 dozen in all!! Oye ....wish me luck...as my house may never be the same again. lol ok...going in...:salute:

When I make cookies I make between 12 and 24 dozen cookies. Then I mail them to people around the country. Last time I made cookies they cost me about 200$ to produce, but 5 people were quite happy to get them :3

Ok...IM ALIVE!!! lol We baked and decorated cookies from 10 am until 6:30 pm. Made sugar, jelly and gingerbread. Had 4 kids and one 16 yr old boy that was in on it. I found this really cool recipe to make a frosting that was like paint. Got them paint brushes and they decorated away. Was a good time....but geez I am exahusted. The house survived the sugar frenzy....no burnt cookies....and everyone got to take the cookies they made home.

oye now onto locking myself in my room for the wrapping frenzy....:rolleyes: I love Christmas.

And as an extra added bonus....it snow just a few short miles away from us....
