He finally figured it out Deb!!!!!

He went from the head lock:

Tried him with a different smaller female. She is around 2,700g and he was at the right end this time but not quite there:

Big snow storm started last night and now look at him (this is him back in with the bigger female he head locked the first time):

I just seperated them to give them a couple days rest and filled up their water bowels. The water bowel was in there with them when I had them together but it was empty. As soon as I put the male back in his own tub and gave him fresh water he drank a ton :gj: Hopefully he has the hang of it now for when I pair them up again :gj:

I have talked to John a lot but I still have not asked him about any breeding tips :confused: I am thinking it was because it was my spider's first time it took him a little while to figure out what to do. He was a slow starter but I am hoping for a strong finisher!!! Hopefully he has the hang of it now :please: Thanks Neil :gj:
