    I'm a bad mommy!
Yesterday, I did my monthly breakdown and disinfecting of Baby's cage. I spot clean the substrate and wash out the hides as they get soiled, and once a month (Or after a shed) I put him in a tub, break down the whole shebang and scrub it all out with hot water and bleach.

Unfortunately, this removes all of his smell from his cage and furniture. Things that used to smell like him, me, last weeks rat, all just smell 'clean'.

So now he's seriously ticked at me  Every time I walk by his cage, where he used to just poke his nose out and then go back to sleep, he now comes straight out in an S position and gives me a dirty look, as if he's saying "What did you DO?" He does this every month, and it's hilarious.

Do your snakes get pissy when you change something in their cages?

The last time I changed Snickets' tank she was wondering around for a bit and made me nervous, but she wasn't aggressive. Micron is so used to me changing out his tub I think he's used to it, and loves the time out on the bed. Wiggles is a typical baby ball, all shy. He doesn't really care as long as we put him back.

I doubt it gets them "pissy", mine do that everytime I clean their enclosure... but I read in a ball python book that is just that they dont recognize their enclosure...like you said it smells Clean to them so they might explore they're enclosure for the rest of the day or do things that you never see them do before, like you said he comes out instead of going back to sleep
