what i did at work today....funny holidayish

so a visiting scientist from thailand wanted to have a ornament contest. i am an invert person so i came up with this:

she is an algae person so she came up with thses:

and yes, mine is made of a real crab carapace and hers is made of real algae. and both were made using things found around our lab.

LMAO!! Mollusk and echinoderms are my specality!! i just picked up arthopods this year.
