Do mature males also seek cool temps in the breeding season?
Hi, a mature fire male that made 3 clutches last season is now reluctant to breed. I have noticed that he is now always at the cool side, despite the fact that the temp at my herp-room have now been droped to 75 F for breeding porpuses. Question: Do mature males also seek for cool temp when they increase spermatogenesis (as females do in vitelogenesis)?
As a reference, hot side is only on during the day (87 F), cool side is 80 F during the day and 75 F at night. Thanks you all for your time!
