Re: Beardie Feeding Question
I hate crickets as well. My beardie, 2 water dragons, and leo geckos all each Dubia Roaches and some super worms on the side.
Adult beardies should be eating a good sized salad and less protien than a young beardie though.
See this site for great nutrition info for beardies (and others):

I started my colony of Dubias from TheRoachGuy. Very easy to maintain. Just give them a heat pad, plastic bin with screen top for ventilation, egg crates for hiding, food dish, dish for water crystals, and you are set. Takes a few months before you start noticing all the nymphs. Mine is going great.
Re: Beardie Feeding Question
for adults as many roaches as they will eat in a sitting 3 times a week and salad every day. make sure to dust the roaches.
Re: Beardie Feeding Question
Hi! Ian Haggerty runs theroachranch.com and Jason runs theroachguy.com. Both are great guys. And as some already mentioned beardeddragon.org is a great site. The feeders and feeding sections will have tons of info on feeding roaches of all kinds. For an adult, I would probably only feed 2-3 adult dubias each day to every other day. Also lots of salads with staple veggies. Great site too. Don't forget to give a variety of proteins also. Silkies, hornworms, supers, etc are great and keep them from getting bored and going on a food strike. Good luck and enjoy your new bd!
Re: Beardie Feeding Question
I just registered over there seems like a good place for sure, thanks for the help!
I'm going to be ordering Dubia's this week, so I was just curious to see how many I would need to get a colony going. I want to be prepared, and not have to worry about anything. and again thanks everyone for the help everyone!!
