Twin Cities Reptiles - doing their part
I was at TCR today buying some feeders, and they had a nice big stack of signed fliers by checkout informing people about pending legislation, and what they can do about it.

Feel free to drop by your local pet stores, there are many that would be willing to distribute fliers I bet :)

P.S. I even saw a customer get informed a she was making a purchase, the person behind me at checkout listened as I talked to the girl at checkout, and she took a definite interest in everything and was asking questions as I left :)

It's nice to spread the word!

I've printed out a bunch of fliers and will be handing them out at work (ZooKeeper Exotic Pets in Austin, TX) starting tomorrow. I also printed a different version geared more towards 'non-reptile' people explaining why they should care (sets a precedent for banning other species without any scientific basis) and I'm going to try and find other pet stores and vet offices around town to pass that one out. The more people we can inform the better! www.nosnakeban.com has fliers available now, but I made my own (since the one there is ink-heavy).
