    Chugs!!
So after we lost our first puppy this last summer, we decided that we'd do a rescue when the time was right. There's hundreds of dogs out there that need good homes, and besides, our other dog was becoming depressed after Abby passed.

So a few weeks ago, this is what we picked up...

They're Chihuahua Pug mix!! And they're absolutely nuts!!! Their names are Mia and Enzo. She's half his size but punishes him all day long!

They are super cute, congrats on your babies. I miss having puppies around.

I rescued my dog two years ago. It was a pain in the butt. I saw her at my local shelter. Went back two days later to pick her up and she got transfered to a bigger shelter farther away to increase her chance at adoption since no one was picking her up. At the new shelter they had a mandatory quarantine (10-14 days) and I couldn't put her on hold. I had to call back everyday to see if she was available. Persistance paid off.

Good for you for rescuing. This train of thought makes me feel bad for buying ball python morphs instead of taking in rescues...

Thanks all! There was a litter of 8 of them and needless to say, they were all scooped up quite quickly!

Rescue is definitely the way to go!
