    wow, I never knew that my pthon was nocturnal. Kinda cool, who else knew this, or didn't know this?

    not to sound rude but im sure most people in here knew this .... that is why you have to do your research before jumping in and buying a reptile ... knowing if they are nocturnal or not plays a big role in setup of there enviroment ... that is why a uv bulb is not used but rather an infra red bulb... if you choose to do lighting some just do uth ... i live in mass and right about now its 28 degrees out so instead of giving my self a $400 gas bill for heat i use infra red bulbs along with my uth and all my temps stay maintained

    I am pretty sure most people who have a ball python already know that it is nocturnal. This is one of the first things you should find out when getting a new pet.
