    Keep visiting opencongress!
We need to make this the most popular bill on the dock to date.

Keep visiting this site. Please, if you havent already done so, sign up, (it takes 5 minutes) and vote oppose to S373.

Leave polite and educated comments as well. So far there are only 626 opposed. Thousands of members here on BP.net and only 626 have done this??

Come on people. If we make this the most looked at & most popular bill with the most comments, we will get noticed. We need to keep trying. This is not a federal issue & we need to voice our opinion as well as the obvious FACTS.

Thank you for posting. I tried to check the box "oppose" earlier this past week, but the site has some quirks with my computer as it wouldn't allow me to be logged in and click that button. However, now there are 630 opposed. The trick I found was go to the site with S.373, click the oppose button, log in from there, click oppose and it'll register the opposition.
    :salute:

So I signed up, found the bill, click the page to oppose it, and it logs me out anytime I try to oppose it. I try to log in and do it again, about 4 times, and every time it logs me out so I can't oppose it.

This irks me a little bit.

Ha, went to the comments and it let me stayed logged in to oppose it. Yay!

Does anyone even remotely related to Congress even bother with this website? Most of the online polls I see around are just places for people to vent. Besides, they're not going to be scientifically accurate because people can make multiple logins and keep voting, so I don't see why anyone in Congress would bother looking at it.

No need to see the glass as half empty.

If the site doesn't impact government, nothing is lost except a little bit of folks' time spent clicking around their site.
If the site does impact government, then the 97% of visitors that oppose the bill will make an impression, something is gained.
If no body does anything on that site, then we risk losing our hobby and some folks' means of living.

I think it is best to not discourage people from acting. ;)

I guess my thought on the matter is to spend time and effort on stuff that will actually make a difference.... But whatever floats people's boats, I guess. :)

Please share what will make a difference, so those visiting this thread can know their options. I've received a couple emails, but they ramble on and on (kinda like I can do sometimes), and I would appreciate a Cliff Notes version of what to do. :)

What this does is alert other people to the issue--that much is important. It's quick and easy to do. It's a PR action.
