    another rescue
Well I get an email this mornig about a ball python .. the snake is ( claimed) to be an 2005 male but the poor bugger is only as big as my 2007 het pied. I set up the tank after cleaning it out and I only putting a temp hide of a butter bowl ( my size breakfast bowl lol. and some aspen and the water bowl once I clean it .. I don't use the fake rock type they get empty as if a beer bong at a party :8: I am going to offer hime a couple pinkie rat pups later tonight after he mellows some with hopes he eats.. pictures and all will follow later tonight/ tomorrow.

well an updates since my camera seems to be MIA on me. I am royally irked over this.
any back to the bp the llittle guy eating ( has takend a small rat pup and as I type this taken a second rat ( small crawler /small) he feeding were a couple days apart. what I am finding interesting on the snake is whatI frst though were scars(old bite marks and such are just a odd fading onthe scales in sections. ( almost like a calico ) but they spots stick to the lighter color area. I hope to find my camera and get pics up by this weekend.

ok finally pics sorry they not the best this was a camera someone was going to chunk cause the kid gave it a soda treatment. it not 100 fixed and they went ahead and replaced it over xmas( so I am making due with it until I can aford one late in the summer if i am lucky and still owns snakes. ) but I was wondering if anyone else has a snake that got sections were the yello/brown color is bleached in spots they are random and I find it freaky and interesting at the same time. any how the pics and you can decide . if you think it may be a good drinker project to prove out let me know lolI add to a possible future project if ther a future for me and reptiles.

What a funky pattern he has! As for his light spots.. I'm not so sure. I wouldn't write them off as scars though.. The light spots seem too pretty to be scars... But I guess its hard to tell in photos.

My BP has some light scales mixed into his pattern as well, but they're not in big patches like yours is. His light scales mostly just line his alien heads.

Those spots are interesting. Very pretty. If you had a spare female lying around I would try to prove it out. But more than likely it's probly not genetic. Of course, I don't have any experience in breeding so I might be wrong.

lol I not gonig ot breed anythign until I can get the permit issues straight in Delaware cause I don't have 475 bucks laying around, and what little I do have after I pay bills does go to the reptiles now I do with out most the winter so my pets don't.

Those marks are insane! I love how its just like someone scraped the brown off of his sclaes in those areas. Just feed him up, he sounds alot like the ball python that i got about 3 months ago. Shes an 06 and shes only 40 inches long and was 1000 grams. Now shes 1190 grams and gaining weight fast, so it is possible to bring back unfortunate underfed Ball Pythons.

yeah I know I for one that Irescued ( the one that was kept wit hthe gerbil ) tht went from like 1000 grams to over 1400 last I check and i only had it a year. I loveto find my digital camera and take soem newer pics of each snake and it current weight lol.. I got 2 ( were a paired thatwere rescued together and muct be the same clutch ) cause they both have gotten larger heads than any of the other bps, nad they only gotten bigger since i gotten them. and put them in own cages lol.. and they both a lovelly chocolate brown onthem.
