    Can anyone offer some help on spotting a vanilla bp. Is this the codom that produces lightning? Do they have visual markers like clear bellies and alien heads. Thanks for any input or info.

    They tend to have faded heads, and the color is similar to a fire. The fire tends to have more of a granited look, whereas the vanilla is very clean

    you have to lick the snake.. if it has a vanilla taste to it then for sure its a vanilla.

    I'm pretty sure spotting one is an eye thing, lol, but if licking is a new way to tell make mine chocolate...:P

    If it tastes like vanilla, don't add it to the cookies your baking though, ok.

    There you go. Look at that post with pics. Vanillas look very different than a fire if you know what to look for. Fairly clean belly scales. Very distinct head pattern. Lip spots and moustach. The color is much lighter than a normal.
