Pixie frog staples?

I am getting a pixie frog for xmas and i want to know if i can feed superworms as a staple diet instead of crickets. If not, is there any other staple insect i can feed instead of crickets and roaches?

anyone have any knowlege of this species of frog?

Variety is the key to a healthy frog. I use crickets, roaches, nightcrawlers, locusts, mealies, supers, etc for staples, and then the occasional rodent.

In the wild these frogs might come across a couple hundred different prey items in a single night while foraging, so the bigger variety we can offer them the better.

Is there a reason you're looking for something other than crickets and roaches?

I agree on variety being very important with these guys.

I was looking at getting one, opted out of it as with the floor space I'd need for one, I'd have much more room for crested gecko hatchlings. I had planned on having a colony of roaches and a colony of european nightcrawlers, with plenty of other options available from my local reptile store for variety. Both are very easy to raise.
