    Rant- animal care
I just have to vent about this, it bothers me too much to remain silent.

I know how addictive these animals can be, not just the Ball Pythons but herps in general. I love my animals and I want what is best for them as I am sure most of us do.

What is driving me nuts is seeing people not THINKING before purchasing an animal. I am not talking about newbies who don't know better. I am talking about people who SHOULD know better, who have had health issues with some of their collection and are not sure how to properly care for the animal or afford vet bills but at the same point, acquiring new animals. It makes no sense!! Get your current animals healthy before even CONSIDERING an addition.

And while were at it, please before you jump in and give advise, please know what you are talking about. There is so much misinformation out there. This site is one of the few places where correct info can be found, lets keep it that way. You don't have to be the know it all, we will respect you even if you don't have the answers- alot more than if you continue to spew incorrect info.

    Arrrg, rant over

This is something that happens in animals in general. It's not limited to herps. People who do that generally have some sort of haording condition.

Very true, I've seen it quite a bit in the rescue world.

Or those people that are constantly buying and then trying to get rid of them a month later, and then move to another animal and do the same thing with another animal.
