    Give me some reassurance..
My male isn't eating... possibly breeding season? He is about 600 grams.
Maybe he is just being a little pain and isn't eating. Ball Pythons.. you gotta love 'em.

From what my breeder told me and what i have seen from other people, it doesnt matter how small he is, he may not be interested in food during the winter months, especially if a female is near.

personally, my male has never refused food, but even my breeder was surprised to hear that.

I know its easier said than done but dont worry about it. As long as he isnt losing weight and everything is right with his set up its just a fact of life with keeping balls. I have a few that have not eaten in a few weeks. Its no cause for concern usually. I would just try a few different angles maybe..ie..feed him at night or if hes on rats try a few mice. Sometimes those work for me. Hope this helps

My Slyder is a few months old now and has eaten regularly every week, he just refused his first meal last week... I'm not too worried about it unless he skips a few more in a row, from what I hear it is pretty common.. 'specially in winter months.

    Re: Give me some reassurance..
My two breeder males (600+ grams and 1000 grams) are both on food strikes right now. One eats every few weeks, but the other hasn't eaten in at least a month. Both are doing fine, though!

So I'm guessing that's why he isn't eating. Like other people said, as long as he isn't losing a significant amount of weight, he'll be fine.
