How can you tell if a Ball Python is overweight?
I've read quite a few of the threads on here with regards to feeding frequency, prey size, etc. There seems to be a lot of discussion as to what is appropriate frequency etc.

I was wondering what is considered fat/overweight in a ball python. Do you go by ratio of head size to girth size? Is it when you see skin between scales? A weight to length ratio? How would one judge that their pet is actually overweight and not just "thick".

    Thanks

If you can see skin in between the scales then then snake is fat.
