rat size, bp problem
so my new bp, is used to eating adult mice, well i have none at moment but have some small rats, can him two of them to equal a large rat, last week i fed him a 1 small, and after he gulfed it down in the matter of minutes, he stayed out in the opening like he was hunting. i have no objection to buying some large rats, but the expo is in january, and i can get them real cheap then, cause my mom and pops store, charges 3 dollars just for a medium, have no clue if larger cost more, but you can see its expensive

Re: rat size, bp problem
I'm not sure what your question is, but if you're asking if you should be getting large rats for your BP, then I would have to say no. A small rat is plenty to feed a BP if you're feeding weekly.

I'm confused??? Because you start with "my new bp, is used to eating adult mice" but then you change to rats. Which is it mice or rats?

It also depends on the snake and what you consider to be small, medium and large. Judging by this link, I feed my males/non-breeding females a small and my breeder females a small or medium.
