55g Small Rat? Feed To Ball?

If I feed a 55g small rat to one of my Balls how much of that actual rats weight would the actually gain? Thats just an example.

Hi,

It's extremely variable from none to quite a bit.

It depends entirely on the animals metabolism and nutritional needs at that exact point in time as well as the temperatures it chooses during digestion.

Basically it's the same as how long as a bit of string.

But to find out you need to keep track of weight of food and water in and poop and pee out.

How you work out whether the water in the bowl evaporated or was drunk and how you weigh the pee is a question I am ill equiped to answer.
