SD situation, suggestions wanted..
I just got my normal SD girlie and she's a beautiful little Tics...However, the SD normal found the chord to the RHP and decided to wrap herself up there all there time...I fed her and everything was great, she went back up and coiled around the chord again...
This AM I was going to take her out and reached in to take her out and she struck multiple times...I had my rolled up paper as my "no feeding" signal, but that didn't work at all...She's still in the getting use to the situation stage possibly (just got her 2 days ago), but are there any suggestions for me...I still can't get her off the chord and she's pissy on there too!!!

Hi,
Not my area of expertise but I'd probably just use gloves and remove her then fix the wire while she was out of the cage so that she cannot get back up there. Just don't use tape.
A hot glue gun would probably be your best bet but if it is a wooden enclosure then staples or those little wire clips might be an option.
All of this might have to be left for a day or so depending on how big a meal you fed her and how far through the digestion process she is.
If she is going up there for heat that might be something you need to adjust - but you could also put in removeable perches like those used for GTP's.
That way she gets to climb and perch but you can still remove her fairly easily if you need to.
But adding the perch might mean re-housing her for a couple fo days as I'm not sure a hot glue gun could be trusted with that amount of weight and silicon will need to be aired and cured before the animal could be put back in.
Again if it is a wooden enclosure then screws would be the answer.
If you cut shims you can mount the perch across a corner.

I would just go in an unwrap her. You can use gloves if you dont feel comfortable getting tagged. Chloe and oskar pull there cords into there cages every week and I have to get in them and push them back out.
Re: SD situation, suggestions wanted..
Just secure the cord to the cage with Hot Glue. Retics are master climbers and will do so if they have the chance.

What you do is take the snake out of its enclosure. Once out get a shipping kit from shipyourreptiles.com and ship it to me. Problem solved :D
