    New BP owner!
Hey all! I'm a new BP owner and loving it :) I grabbed my normal BP actually at Petsmart, which as I'm aware is possibly one of the worst places but it checked him out for about 3 days and read every possible article about what to look for and what not. Everything looked great so I took the dive after having everything set up at my house. I asked about when it's fed, F/T or live ect. when I asked the guy had a quick response of "Oh he eats great all the time" which made me a little iffy after reading how these guys are notorius picky eaters. After getting him home I left him alone and he didn't really use any hides just sat basking. I really wanted to leave him alone for a week or so to let him get used to his new setup but I figured I'd try to feed him after having him 24 hours since it was his feed day and he's such a "Great" eater apparently. So I thawed up 2 fuzzies then putem in his feed container and scooped him up and dropped him in. I dangled one in front of him for about 5 seconds with the tongs before he went for it, it took 3 strikes for him to nail it...maybe he's far sighted :D but he gobbled that one down but took little interest in the second. Even though he only ate one I consider it amazing being that the poor guy has gotta be really stressed so under the possible worst of conditions he still ate. Hopefully that continues lol. So after he he done I set him down on the warm side of his tank he leisurely went for the hot hide to sleep off breakfast :P

Since I got him at a commercial pet store I have no idea how old he is and I'm gonna grab scale of the next few days but he's about 14-15 inches so I'm guessing hes maybe 6-8 weeks old? He also likes to sleep a lot it seems but obviously he's still really young so I'd imagine a BP is just like every other baby animal that sleeps like 22 hours a day :P

So all in all I think I got lucky getting a good eating BP at an evil commercial store ;) Now I'll continue to read every thread in the forums lol.

    Nice meeting ya all :)
