New FBI Scam

I received this e-mail this morning, and laughed hysterically! Well, maybe not literally, but I wonder how many have actually fallen for this new scam? I've never seen anything like it!

so how much did you get scammed for??

I hardly think that an "official" notification would use words and phrases like "fraudsters" and " amount scammed from you".

Coincidentally, I had one of those e-mails saved. In the e-mail, Terry Smith, claimed to be an attorney, representing a Nigerian girl whose father was the slain Vice President of the Bank of Nigeria and she wanted me to hold $9 million for her...:8:

We usually respond to them with ridiculous stories and such, without giving any info, just to see how long they will keep trying... :rofl:

Oh yeah, I've played with them a bit in the past where I actually told them I sent them the item they were "purchasing" when in fact I didn't, just to see if they'd ever get back to me... but I just told them it was shipped, but never was.

LOL

I knew it was a scam when it said "in other" instead of "in order" :rolleyes:.Why would Nigeria try to give back some money when they are the ones teaching these idiots how to run scams :mad:
