Does anyone live in Nebraska along Highway 80?
I was just wondering, because this is part of the route that we are traveling. And I am worried about the weather; if it'll be snowy or not in the next week. Any ideas?
Other worry points for me, are Provo, UT and Wyoming; all along 80.

While I was stationed in Missouri at Whiteman AFB, I drove that route many times to come back to California for vacations. I can tell you with great certainty that no one lives along 80 in Nebraska. There is a large rest stop somewhere in the middle that has billboards announcing it's existence like 300 miles in advance and every 25-50 miles there after. Set cruise control and put in a DVD.

I live in Yankton, SD, which is right across the boarder, on 80. Norfolk NE is on 80, and Omaha and Lincoln are not that far off of 80 ... (Omaha is a little bit of a jog, but not bad)
While it is true not many people "live on 80", there are some cool things along the way, some little towns and not so little towns.

Re: Does anyone live in Nebraska along Highway 80?
So there shouldn't be toooo much snow, right>?
Re: Does anyone live in Nebraska along Highway 80?
I live in Omaha right on 680 which is just a few min from the main interstate.

I live in Lincoln Nebraska and trying to predict the weather out here is not an easy thing to do. What it does in the eastern part of the state can be radically different that what it's doing in the central or western part.
Best thing to do imo is check the forecast at several spots along I-80 to see how it looks. http://www.noaa.gov/
There are chances for snow here in Lincoln this week but nothing significant, just flurries/light snow.
Re: Does anyone live in Nebraska along Highway 80?
Sounds fine! We are used-to flurries. A blizzard would frighten me.
