    Pewter x Pewter??
So i was doing what i usually do with my spare time, calculating various morph punnett squares, and apparently with a pewter x pewter breeding you have a 6.25% chance of getting a super pastel super cinnamon. Has anyone ever hit on this before, and if so what does this snake look like? Any code names? I haven't heard of this before so just curious what it would be. Thanks for all input.

It's been done I believe.. I think it's called the silver bullet? Or is that just a pastel super cinny? I get confused with "specially" named morph combos.

It's a patternless snake that's much lighter in color than a super cinny.

edit: silver bullet is just heterozygous for the pastel gene, not homozygous, so not super pastel, I guess I don't know if the super pastel x super cinny has been done

the 2 that have been done as far as i know from a pewter x pewter are a super pastel cinny (sterling) and a super cinny pastel (silver bullet). I havent heard of the super cinny super pastel, which is why im wondering if it exists.

I disagree, but everyone has their own opinions...however...everything that hatches from that snake will be at least a cinnamon...not something I would complain about as a breeder.

Ah, yes, I neglected to acknowledge that part... Definitely something I wouldn't mind having for breeding purposes, that's for sure. :D Just, not the most charming snake to me, I guess. Maybe if he had any close-ups to share with the snake by itself, that might create a different perspective.

Imagine that snakes' potential. Breed it to a Normal and get all Pewters? That is absolutely ridiculous, haha. Goodness, pair that snake with a double or triple gene combination morph and let the possibilities, and confusion, flow.

    Cheers,

    Re: Pewter x Pewter??
I have seen some doubt in this thread as to the outcome from breeding a Super Pewter. When bred, at minimum, it will produce all Pewters. If bred to another gened animal, it will produce more, but it will never produce a Cinnamon or a Pastel solely.

As far as the history of the snake, it was first produced by Will Slough in 2008, and that female was aquired by Doug Matuzak. I know that Sean Bradley produced a male this year (and I am amazed, at as I look at it about once a week). I know that another gentlemen (I saw a thread last week) produced 2 this year as well. That brings the grand total to 4 of them produced to date (and that doesn't include anyone that doesn't have an internet presence).

    Hope that helps,
