Ball Python...

I'm like leveled in life...
I started with a lonely little water snake.(Still have him, he's awesome)
Now I decided to go to the store yesterday and look what the petstore had new in Leashes... (German Shep and my Husky like devoured them)
I noticed the guy was freaking out because he had to pick up a snake and put it in the cages to show it was for sale...
So i helped him, the beauty of that Python... It looked at me as if I were making this seem as a story.(Not trying to haha)
I put it in it's cage and gave it water, so the guy wouldn't have to do that either... haha.
I asked, "Is it a healthy Juvenile?". He said "Yea it is"

I asked how much they were selling if for...

I didn't have the money, all bummed and what-not or melancholy had swept me into a parallel universe of despair and regret of having the money to buy it...

My friend, as Jesus... Saved me.
He lent me 40$...

I'm going to get it tomorrow and CAN'T WAIT.

If you don't have the money for the snake.. how will you get the money to buy an enclosure and heat with a good thermostat? Please make sure to take that into consideration.

Read the caresheet on this forum before you set up the tank. Learn it like a bible.

Don't get a cage too big (I recommend a tub actually).
Make sure you get a good UTH (under tank heater) and have something to control it. I recommend a good thermostat. They run 70-80 dollars or so.
Use either papertowels, newspaper, aspen, or cypress mulch for substrate. Avoid heat lamps, log hides, and oversized water bowls. Don't use sand, cedar, or pine bedding.

I have the money to get the enclosure...
I just didn't have all the money to get everything...
The enclosure is pretty cheap at my petstore and heating is cheap too...

At the moment... A 20 Gal tank is 10$ on sale and a Heat source(Lamp that sits on top) is like 3.99.

I already have extra stuff from past snakes that I can use to make it's VIV as best as poss.

*Edit*... Since I can't use pine bedding, what should I use?? Because I have a 50LB bag of Pine at my house I bought a few years back... It's still fresh and crisp.

A 20g may be fine, but it also may not. Sometimes juvenile ball pythons will get stressed from a cage that is too large.
Heat lamps are not recommended. They suck humidity and do not provide a proper heating source for a ball python. BPs need belly heat to digest their food and do not bask under a light.

You'll want to get an under tank heater, not a heat lamp. They need belly heat to help digest their food, and the heat lamps suck humidity, which they also need.

Aspen bedding, newspaper, or paper towels.

Pine bedding is dangerous and can pose as a risk to your reptile. It has oils in it just like cedar does that could be dangerous.

I just sold my iPod to my neighbor on craigslist :).
