My pastel is freakin out...part 2
A while ago I posted a thread about a male pastel of mine freakin out with a girl of mine. Kinda like he was combating. I seperated him for a couple days, reintroduced and he bred her with no problems the second time through. Well, I just introduced him to the same girl and he did the same thing so I pulled him and dropped him in with another girl he has been breeding. He started doing the same thing with her also(he got put on time out by the way:P). I know for a fact that both of the snakes he was with are females. Any ideas on why he is doing this. Is it possible that he is just very worked up? What are your thoughts?

My male did the exact same thing...I don't honestly think he will stop. My male did it EVERY time he was introduced to my female for the on-off breeding scheduel. I just left him in there and he eventually got quiet and figured it out(locked 7 times). I think they just get very worked up and know there is a FEMALE somewhere so they are ready to have breeding rights with her.

My female was way bigger and just sorta laid there and would flatten herself down each time he would try to pin her. She wasn't ever hurt and she seemed to know what was going on and how to make him stop...if nothing is fighting him back he obviously wouldn't keep doing it.
