    Question on Feeding
I used the Search Feature and I did not find anything relating to how much you should feed a Boa. I read you should feed once a week. But what do you do if the Boa still acts like its hungry after it has ate a day before. Like I fed my snake Tuesday Morning, and Hes acting the same as before I fed him( trying to get out). Should I feed him again? or just wait till next Tuesday Like I have been.

He measures out to be 42 inches Long

Edit : or its all in my head and hes just wondering around his new enclosure, because right when I introduced him to his new Cage he begin to shed same day, That was last week so he was in his hide the whole week, then I fed him Yesterday and Can't mess with him till tomorrow or Friday

You should feed your boa once per week until he is around one year-of-age, then switch to every ten to fourteen days. They can become obese fairly easily. Your meal size should be approximately the same thickness as the thickest part of your boa. Hope this helps.

well they say boas grow 1 foot every year, so that'll make my boa around 3 years old. He is eating a small rat the roundness of his biggest part of his body.

If someone put you in a cage, would you just sit there and wait for food, or would you "try to get out"?:P

Once a week is fine, but maybe give him a leeetle bigger meal next time.:gj:
