"High Contrast albino"...yeah right.

This is the biggest load of crap in the bizz. Doesn't it seem like everyone says this..... and 9 out of ten grow up to look like any old albino. That's because that's exactly what they are......any old albino.

BG is not making this post because of anyone's snake in particular. It's always been a pet peeve(should put it in the thread) of Big Gunns. Big Gunns is gonna give everyone a leeetle advice. Unless you see the parents, your "high contrast" albino is probably just a regular old albino. Don't pay a nickel more for that "high contrast" label. BG has only seen a couple lines that he would consider true "high contrast".

Would BG be willing to post comparison pics of a true "High Contrast" adult verses a normal albino adult for us newbies? Thanks in advance.

I see one problem with your post BG, and thats the fact that there was alot more truth to this 5 years ago. Now that HC albinos are pretty much everywhere including your small time breeders. I have to disagree with you when you say only the "professional breeders" can be trusted. Id also like to mention that making snakes go boom boom is like making high quality macaroni, and anyone can have the knowledge, and do it effectively.

I realize theres more to it then what ive put into this simple post, but just had to voice my opinion on the subject.

I love albinos....but when it comes to determining what is high contrast or not...I let my eyes be the judge. It is ,however, sometimes difficult to distinguish between good photography and a good snake...and in that case I just have to trust the seller's integrity. :cool:
